Great job on the lists Dan, I think you're right that it's gonna be the most popular feature. I have a suggestion for a list which you probably already have thought of: DIY Home Automation software. There is this Google Doc, but it's a bit of a pain to find stuff in it. It would be really cool to be able to filter based on what you need and just get a cleaner list. Maintenance would be a bit of a problem I suppose, but I think it would be extremely useful for those forum posters that start with "I'm new to HA...". The could browse the forums for technologies that seem to meet your needs, then directly find the software that supports them.
