X10 Interface distance

i am installing a Napco Gemini 9600 panel with the Gem-X10 interface module. I've looked on the Napco site but couldn't find an answer. Does anyone know if there is a distance limit from my HA computer to the security panel?

If it's using rs232, then the "official" max length is 50 feet. However, at the slow speed most panels communicate (9600), you can esaily get twice that amount without a problem.
