Hi all,
I have an Omnipro II installation i'm wrapping for a client that has gone quite well considering how complex (for me) this one is.
The problem is that the 6 vivotek 8000 series cameras will not come up on either of the 2 touch screens. All I get is a black screen which claims to be "establishing connection".
The cameras are not yet password protected, so I know that isnt the issue.
The cameras are on a dedicated POE switch which has only the cameras and Omnitouchs on it.
The camera images can be brought up on the VLC viewer that I use to test the streams.
The Cameras are all configured to JPEG and can even be found on my phone if I enter the IP
I've tried calling support for both HAI and Vivotek and no help. Both agree that it should be working fine, but all I get is a black screen suggesting it is "establishing connection" and furtive glances from the homeowner.
Please help!!!
If this factors at all... the system also has 2 expansion enclosures, notification board, a keypad, 2 russound MCAC5 controllers and a few other things that have all worked fine.
