So I am about to embark on a large landscape project... in the past I would have normally just controlled the irrigation using my existing OPII, or maybe with some fancier rules with HaikuHelper.
However, the controllers from Cyber Rain are really calling to me, especially the ability to handle slopes, as well as monitor water usage and watching for solenoid malfunctions. I could provide an output from the OPII to lock out watering during a party or what not, but let the Cyber Rain do the math on how much to water. Plus I get a rebate from my water district for buying it.
Has anyone had first hand experience with these things? I don't want to plunk down a significant amount of money just to have a turd on my hands.
