My mother said it beeped trouble, I replaced the battery and it shows not ready. I did not read I had to reset anything. Last battery replacement just worked. Any ideas?

Dave is correct, and the extra buttons wont work. One of them was to record a message so when loved ones wouls disarm, it would spit out the message. I am using 2 original aegis consoles with no issues.

I have an hai console that 80% of the buttons not working . Is there something that breaks inside that gets out of alighnment? Dad was very heavy fingered in his late 90s and both console’s keys are not registering to pushes.
