    Consultant with expertise with HAI/OmniPro/UPB?

Note to everyone: If you're a known installer with HAI and/or UPB expertise, please post or reach out to me. I'm getting tons of messages from people asking for help with their setup, so the demand is there, and would love to build a curated list of approved & vetted installers.

Leviton HAI Dealer PC Access 3

Probably because it's an executable file. VirusTotal shows all green, including Malware Bytes, and the hash hasn't changed. As for the version, according to Leviton, this was the last build they released with the license check removed? Not a HAI user myself, and they have gone dark, so I can't...

Pete's Blog $13 voice assistant for Home Assistant

So would you recommend the Atom devices for basic VR using Home Assistant (without cloud)?

Anything in the log files? That one is a little puzzling unless it's picking something up it's reacting to. Oddly enough, my MIL has a Google Home speaker which once in a while will start talking/playing music, but no requests were recorded when looking at history.

Does anyone have the Rain8 UPB Setup Software?

That's a great find Pete, I'll have to add this to Software Resources once I get a chance to analyze the executable. update: Cynet is tagging the executable as malicious, so be careful, especially since the domain was taken over. It's possible it's a false positive still running analysis...

    Schematic of DSA-10 Needed

Wow, that's some great work (and even more impressive you still have 'new member' status despite having joined in 2011! Thanks for sharing, the DS10As were some of my most favorite devices in my arsenal.

Looking for touch screen product/solution suggestions

Almost too good to be true, but after doing some background checks, it looks like it may be legit. Not sure if they're willing to sell to consumers, but will have to reach out to them to get a better feel. Great find!

Looking for touch screen product/solution suggestions

AIO approach is not a bad idea at all. Only question is the price of these units, which puts it in the same range as the touchscreen/KVM-over-CAT6 combo which would be more future proof. Will have to set up some deal alerts just in case something pops. My concern is with the battery...

Looking for touch screen product/solution suggestions

That's actually a good point I forgot about. As long as the OS doens't lock up/misbehave due to complete lack of connectivity, I could consider one of the bigger brands. Thanks for the tip! Do the Fire tablets allow you to limit battery charging behavior?

Looking for touch screen product/solution suggestions

My old in-wall Atom-based PC's touchscreen 'finally' stopped working, so now I'm looking for a replacement. Trying to figure out options, and hoping maybe someone has some product suggestions that may meet my requirements. Some of my requirements I'm trying to meet: Power: no battery, or...

universal or learning ir/rf remote recommendations?

Something I used to do until recently (my old in-wall PC's touchscreen finally died) was just establishing a VNC session to my server, and run the Home Assistant interface that way. Trying to resist picking one of these up, as I'm looking for something beefier (will start new thread).

Reverse engineering the popular BM2 BLE car battery monitor

I'm just using a standard ESP32 running ESPHome. ESPHome is connected via WiFi, and connects to the vehicle via BLE. Once you added the board to Home Assistant, you can edit the basic configuration via the ESPHome option in the menu, and add the following sensors (replace XX with your actual...

Is there a wired UPB relay that allows for double pole?

The only option I can think of is the PulseWorx OCM: Output Control Module, 2 Channels, 30VDC/24VAC, 8A module, combined with a dedicated relay (example, but verify specifications). edit: That site has tons of RIB variations, including DPDT (which is why I made sure to mention to check specs...

Leviton HAI Dealer PC Access 3

The installer is available via the orange download button on the top right once you click the link in the original post here (but you must have an account to see the download button). I agree it's not as visible as it should be (will address this after the next forum software update).
